Dr. James Wu

Dr. James Wu has over 16 years of experience in the software industry. He is a founding member of BroadVision OnDemand and serves as Chief Technology Officer, in charge of research and development of SaaS platform and on-shore/off-shore development methodology. During his 13-year tenure at BroadVision, he has worked on several major products and was responsible for many technological breakthroughs. He invented and productized the multi-layer cache technology for One-To-One Enterprise, which significantly improved the performance of many successful e-Commerce web sites. As VP of Technology, he oversaw the development of BroadVision’s state-of-the-art eBusiness platform. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Wu’s research in object-oriented and deductive databases has been published in prestigious computer science journals, including JACM and ACM SIGMOD.
