This session focuses on BV Care, the Portal foundation application. The lecture and lab activities will provide hands-on experience with user tasks such as creating channels and programs, and organizing content in blocks and top level pages. There are no pre-requisites to this class.

One-To-One Portal: Development Tasks
3:00 - 5:00
The material and lab activities in this session will focus on customizing the BV Care application, including customizing the navigation bar, top level pages, and microsites. This session builds on the participant's knowledge of One-To-One Portal, so previous experience with the application or attendance at the Administration Tool session is recommended.

One-To-One Commerce: Commerce Center
1:00 - 2:45
This session focuses on BV Presidio, the Commerce foundation application. The lecture and lab activities will provide hands-on experience with user tasks such as account and catalog management, and the sales rep and pricing system. There are no pre-requisites to this class.

One-To-One Commerce: Development Tasks
3:00 - 5:00
The material and lab activities in this session will focus on development tasks in the BV Presidio application, such as customizing the order management system. This session builds on the participant's knowledge of One-To-One Commerce, so previous experience with the application or attendance at the Commerce Center session is recommended.

One-To-One Content: Introduction for Users

Participants in this session will experience the basics of BroadVision's powerful content solution. The lecture and lab activities will focus on key user tasks such as creating documents, using the content administrator desktop, and publishing documents. There are no pre-requisites to this class.

One-To-One Content: Development Tasks

This session will focus on key development tasks for One-To-One Content. The lecture and lab activities will include information on how to customize existing application templates and components to change the look and behavior of the Workflow processing and the Content Catalyst. This session builds on the participant's knowledge of One-To-One Content, so previous experience with the application or attendance at the Introduction for Users session is recommended

Tips and Tricks of the QuickSilver Masters

This mini-course will present tried and true shortcuts and productivity tips from QuickSilver masters.

Layered Applications and Harnessing the Power of XML

This is a two-part mini-course. The first part covers the basics of QuickSilver Layered Applications: what are they, why would you want to use them and how do you create them? The second part turns to a specific QuickSilver Layered Application: the XML Publisher. This part of the course begins with the most important question: Is XML the right technology for your documentation? It then covers the roadmap to XML publishing: the steps to XML, document analysis, DTD design, and processing definitions. This course is designed for developers and implementation managers.

Optimizing Productivity: BroadVision Deployment Center

This session will focus on how to use the Deployment Center to create and manage a staging site. The lecture materials and lab activities will allow participants to experience the key features of the product, including the Workbench tool. Participants will also learn best practices for successful use of the Deployment Center. There are no pre-requisites to this class.
