Dr. Pehong Chen launched BroadVision in 1993 and it quickly became one of the world's dominant providers of self-service web applications. Previously he founded Gain Technology, a leading supplier of multimedia software tools, where he pioneered multimedia as an enabling technology for a new generation of business applications. Gain was acquired by Sybase in 1992 for more than $100 million. Having started and run two successful organizations, Dr. Chen uses his resources to help others do the same.
