One-To-One Connection, our worldwide user conference scheduled for March 1-3, is
taking a new form. Instead of inviting you to join us in the San Francisco
Bay Area, we're taking the show to you, in the form of a multi-city world tour.
The impetus for the change was, unfortunately, the double-booking of our
meeting space by the Hotel Sofitel, which has just informed us that it
can no longer accommodate BroadVision on our contracted date.
With less than 2 months until One-To-One Connection, it is impossible
to secure a comparable venue, but we did some quick brainstorming and
are developing a plan we believe will be very attractive for our global
customer base—a multi-city world tour during April and May, featuring
many of the program elements planned for the original conference—but without
the travel and lodging expense.
We're still in the planning stages, but we are targeting nine locations:
4 cities in North America, 4 cities in Europe and 1 city in Asia Pacific.
Each local event will be a one-day format, with no registration fee.
Except for the loss of our celebrity keynote speakers and the pre-conference
training, each event will include all of the program elements previously
announced for One-To-One Connection 2004: a keynote address by a BroadVision
executive; a demo of our new product; and presentations by customers,
BroadVision experts, partners, and analysts. Additional details will be
available soon at www.broadvision.com.
I'd like to personally invite you to attend the local event closest to
your office.
On a special note, we recognize that this change in event dates and format
is a particular inconvenience to those of you who had already registered
for the conference. So, we're contacting each of you personally by phone
to explain the change of plans. Any registration fees you've paid will
be refunded, as will any receipted, non-refundable travel fees you've
incurred. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience this
may have caused you.
Looking forward, we hope to see you during our spring world tour!
Kind Regards,
Pehong Chen
